Silver State
Silver State has invested in 6 local home-service companies and is itself listed as an investment by The Edgewater Funds. Each one still trades under its own name. No source we can read shows that Silver State controls any of them, so they are counted apart from the investor-owned record.
Who owns Silver State?
The Edgewater Funds lists Silver State among its investments. Parity has not documented who controls Silver State itself. What is documented is the other direction: 6 local home-service companies that Silver State names as its partners, each with a source.
Does Silver State own the companies on this page?
Not as far as any source Parity can read shows. Silver State has invested in each of them. The size of the stakes is not published, so Parity lists these companies as investor-backed, control not shown, and counts them apart from the investor-owned record.
Is a company backed by Silver State still local?
It keeps its local name, its phone number and usually its founder. What may change is who has a say in prices and growth. Ownership does not tell you how good the work is; it tells you who the company answers to.
At a glance
Parity has documented 6 home-service companies that Silver State names as its partners, in 4 states. Each is listed as investor-backed, control not shown: a page we read names the investor, and no page we can read says who controls the company. A linked company has its own page with the sources.
If Silver State or one of these companies can show who controls it, the entry changes: to “owned by” if the investor controls it, or to a note that the founder still does. Use the corrections link below.
